OA meet a
success: Once again, the OA
parents pulled off another successful meet. Thank you to all
parents for providing your time and all your donations to
hospitality and snack bar. Special thanks to meet directors,
Cynthina Funai and Liz Jones and their helpers, hospitality
coordinator, Margot Woodward, snack bar coordinator, Lorree Swinton
and our new parent coordinator, Julia
Fuqua.
Summer Junior
Olympics: Pacific Swimming
approached Orinda Aquatics about hosting Junior Olympics this
summer. Although a huge task, the opportunity to provide the
best facility showcase Orinda Aquatics was too great for our parent
board to
pass.
We will need the help and support
of all Orinda families so please mark your calendars now for July
15-18th. If you have any special talents that
you would like to avail, the OA parent board will be seeking
parents to coordinate special areas of the meet. More details to
come.
2010 USA registration
renewal:
It is
time to renew all USA registrations for 2010. The cost is $60
per swimmer, please include with your December monthy dues.
Swimmers who joined this fall are already registered for 2010, only
returning and transfer swimmers must be renewed for
2010.
See’s Candy orders
due: All See’s order are due
back to the pool by Thursday, Nov. 19th. Please double check
your order for accuracy. Also, make a copy of your order form for
your records. Thank you for your
support.
If
you are opting out of the See’s Candy sale, please turn in
your$200 tax-deductable donation to Orinda Aquatics.
Please denote, See’s fund-raiser donation on the check.
Thank you.
Team Policy/Parent Agreement requires
all families to sell $350 or $500 for multi-swimmers of See’s
Candy or make a tax-deductable $200 donation to Orinda
Aquatics.
Monthly Dues
Reminder: All monthly swim
payments are due the 1st of each month. Invoices
for each month are generated on the 21st of the
preceding month. You can log into your member account and
view your invoices at any time. Please send your payments to:
5101 Coach Drive, El Sobrante, CA 94803. Thank you for making
payments on time. Team Policy: outstanding dues of over a
month can result in swimmers being held out of the water until
balances are paid.

14&under qualifiers. Must have provable Junior Olympic
cuts.
USA Junior Nationals, Dec. 10-12,
Columbus, Ohio - Orinda Aquatics will be travelling
to the short course Jr. Nationals in December.

Now
Available:Pacific Senior
Olympics, Dec. 11-13, DVC in Pleasant Hill - All
Senior swimmers with Junior+ T&F time should enter and attend
this meet.
Enter
Online:Tiger/AIA dual
venue cba+, Dec. 12&13, (Mills or UoP) - Junior
group swimmers. Possible peak/shave meet for non-JO
swimmers. Re-shave for JO swimmers. Senior swimmers who do
not qualify for the Senior Champs should enter this
meet.
Team Gear:
As part of
the annual fee this fall, each swimmer will receive a team
suit. Team suits are on order and should be here
soon.
We are a
Nike sponsored team and would like all swimmers to have a team
jacket and wear a team suit at all Non-Peak/Big
Meets.
All team
attire can be purchased at NorCal Swim Shop in Walnut Creek.
NorCal has OA hats and shirts as well, parents.
