Heading to
Junior Nationals: Next week, Orinda
Aquatics will be attending Junior Nationals in Columbus,
Ohio. Congratulations to the following swimmers who earned a
trip to Juniors: Rachel Cleak, Jordan Tomimatsu, Shannon Herman,
Jill Jones, Andrea Ward, Courtney Whyte, Sven Campbell and Steven
Stumph.
In addition, College swimmer Dustin
Luchini will be attending Nationals in Federal Way, Washington the
following week. Good Luck, Swim

See's Candy
pick-up this Thursday: The See's candy is
being delivered and will be ready for pick up this Thursday at the
Soda Center from 3:30-6:30. All orders MUST be picked
up this Thursday, we can not store the candy over night.
Please make arrangements to pick up your
orders.
Junior
Olympics: This weekend is the
Pacific Swimming Junior Olympics. OA will send a group of
about 30 swimmers to the championship meet in Pleasanton.
This meet is a trials and finals meet with the top 16 swimming in
finals. New this year, the meet will have relays.
Orinda Aquatics will have relays in the 9-10 girls and boys, 11-12
girls (A&B) and 13-14 girls (A & B) and boys. The
coaches will let you know about
relays.
Jr Group Pasta
Feed: The junior group
pasta feed is Tuesday night after practice. We will workout
and have pasta. Please pick up swimmers at
8:00.
2010 USA registration
renewal: It is time to renew all USA
registrations for 2010. The cost is $60 per swimmer, please
include with your December monthy dues. Swimmers who joined
this fall are already registered for 2010, only returning and
transfer swimmers must be renewed for 2010.
Dec Dues
Reminder: All monthly swim
payments are due the 1st of each month. Log into your
member account and view your invoices at any time. Please send your
payments to: 5101 Coach Drive, El Sobrante, CA 94803.
Thank you for making payments on time.
Team Policy:
outstanding dues of over a month can result in swimmers being held
out of the water until balances are paid.

venue cba+, Dec. 12&13, (Mills or UoP) - Junior
group swimmers. Possible peak/shave meet for non-JO
swimmers. Re-shave for JO swimmers. Senior swimmers who do
not qualify for the Senior Champs should enter this
meet.
Mark your Calendar
Now! Summer Junior Olympics, July
15th-18th. Orinda Aquatics is hosting the
2010 Long Course Junior Olympics and will need the help and support
of all Orinda families. If you have any special talents that you
would like to avail, the OA parent board will be seeking parents to
coordinate special areas of the meet.
Team Gear:
As part of the
annual fee this fall, each swimmer will receive a team suit.
Team suits are on order and should be here
soon.
We are a Nike
sponsored team and would like all swimmers to have a team jacket
and wear a team suit at all Non-Peak/Big
Meets.
All team
attire can be purchased at NorCal Swim Shop in Walnut Creek.
NorCal has OA hats and shirts as well, parents.
