Swimming in
Africa: Donnie along with
former OA coach Christina Risso, are in Swaziland, Africa working
with the Dolphins Swim Club. They will spend eight days with
the team helping and mentoring the
Dolphins.

If you want a copy of the
video shown at the Awards Banquet, a limited supply is
available at the pool. We are asking for a $5 donation to
cover costs. You can send a check or
cash. More copies will be made when inventory runs
low. If copies are not available, please email Fred Stumph

Winter/Spring
Meet Schedules: The meet schedules
have been handed/emailed out. If you did not get a schedule,
pick up a copy at the pool. Be sure you know what meets you
are suppose to enter and be sure to enter on
time.
High School
Swimming: The 2010 High
School swim season is set to begin on Monday, Feb. 8th.
Please get a copy of your high school meet schedule to the Senior
group coaches. Good luck high school
swimmers.
Monthly Dues
Reminder: All monthly
swim payments are due the 1st of each month.
Log into your member account and view your invoices at any time.
Please send your payments to: 5101 Coach Drive, El Sobrante,
CA 94803. Thank you for making payments on
time. Team Policy: outstanding dues of over a month
can result in swimmers being held out of the water until balances
are paid.

Last Chance to enter:SSC/Cuda dual venue, Feb.
6-7. Recommended for the Sr and Jr group. We
have requested to be sent to Mills College. We have been
assigned to Mills College in Oakland. Last chance to enter
was Thursday, Jan. 28
Enter
Now: Zone 2 Champs B+,
San Ramon, Feb. 20-21. Recommended for all
Junior group swimmers. Senior group - Pick one day (2nd day
optional). This meet is a zone hosted meet, all Zone
2 teams will be asked to fulfill jobs outside of regular timing
duties. Julie Fuqua will contact the team regarding our work
assignments.
Coming Soon: WCAB CBA+, Walnut Creek,
March 6-7. Recommended for all Junior group
swimmers. Optional for Senior swimmers not attending Clovis Sr+
meet.
Senior Travel:
Clovis Sr+, Clovis,
March 6-8. Senior group travel meet -
attendance based on coaches' decision for swimmers who
qualify.
Possible
Peak/Shave: AIA Last Chance Meet, March
13-14. Recommended for all Junior group
swimmers. Possible Peak/Shave meet for Non-JO or FW
qualifiers. (Recommended peak/shave meet for Senior group
swimmers not attending Clovis meet).
Junior Olympics, San Ramon, March
26-28. Peak/Shave meet for Junior Group
swimmers who qualify. Senior Group -
TBD.
SC Far Westerns, Morgan Hill,
April 8-11. Peak meet for Junior group
swimmer who qualify. Not a team meet for the Senior group
(can attend if they would
like).
Team Gear:
As part of the
annual fee this fall, each swimmer will receive a team suit.
Team suits are on order and should be here
soon.
We are a Nike
sponsored team and would like all swimmers to have a team jacket
and wear a team suit at all Non-Peak/Big
Meets.
All team
attire can be purchased at NorCal Swim Shop in Walnut Creek.
NorCal has OA hats and shirts as well, parents.
