Fall Swimming Program

Orinda Aquatics 2026 "Polar Bear"
Fall Swimming Program

Location: Soda Aquatic Center @ Campolindo High School

Join a program with a 40-year history of serving the swimming community! Known nationally for character, culture, and unprecedented success at all levels, the Orinda Aquatics Fall (Polar Bear) Program provides a learning opportunity that is founded in the development of over 1,000 OMPA and County finalist, under the direction of program Head Coach Marc Cavallero, who is regarded as one the finest stroke development coaches in the area, if not the nation. In addition to the program, our coaches offer exclusive Zoom seminars to swimmers and parents on various developmental topics throughout the season.

Space is highly limited, and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Once a registration group fills, that group will close, and a waitlist will be started.

Note:2026 Fall Program Registration link will be published in August, 2026.

Is THIS Program Right for You?

This is a competitive training environment, not a learn-to-swim program, and swimmers must have prior competitive swim team experience.

The minimum age to participate is 7 years old (based on your swimmer's age for next summer, as of June 15, 2027). To qualify, swimmers must be able to complete 25 yards of freestyle with proper side breathing in under 30 seconds, as well as comfortably swim 25 yards of backstroke.

Program Options & Pricing

We offer flexible schedule options to best fit your family's needs. All program options include a Fall Swimming Team Shirt, a swim cap, and your AAU Program Insurance. (Note: AAU insurance covers the swimmer for the entire year and allows participation in the Fall Jamboree, but it does not cover USA Swimming competitions).

  • Two-Day Options ($525): Choose to swim exclusively on either Mondays/Wednesdays OR Tuesdays/Thursdays.

  • Full Four-Day Option ($750): Maximize your training by attending all four days, Monday through Thursday.

Practice Schedule by Age Group

To ensure high-quality coaching, workouts are capped at 40 swimmers per session. Age groups are based on the swimmer's age as of next summer (June 15, 2027). Please note that swimmers may occasionally be asked to move to a different workout time for their benefit or to ensure group balance.
