SENIOR Group
A THIRTY-YEAR HISTORY of High-Level Performance IN AN EXTRAORDINARY CULTURE
The Orinda Aquatics Senior Group is recognized as one of the most accomplished competitive swimming programs in the nation. For a team of approximately 150 athletes, Orinda Aquatics consistently produces an exceptionally high number of national-level swimmers, collegiate athletes, and university team leaders and captains.
This unprecedented success is rooted in a remarkable culture of character, leadership, and athlete integrity. Operating with a roster of 75 to 90 senior athletes, the group produces an average of 10 national-level swimmers and 40-50+ Sectional qualifiers, and 25+ Futures swimmers each year. The Senior Group has become a national model for team spirit, character culture, mutual respect, impeccable travel, and close personal relationships—so much so that our coaches are frequent featured speakers on youth and senior development and have authored a character development guidebook based directly on this group's philosophy.
